Cappadocia Green Tour:
9.45 am Pick up at your hotel. Start the tour with a spectacular view over Goreme from Esentepe. See the panaromic view of Goreme valley and village with its fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses.
Journey to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the best preserved and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Discover the unique rooms found in an underground city such as stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches and wineries.
Visit the second floor that housed the missionary school and study rooms Travel to the Ihlara Valley. Look at over one hundred rock carved churches and houses that line the gorge. Walk along the river in the valley. Explore the hidden churches. Relax by the river at Belisirma Village where lunch is served.
Following lunch continue on to the Selime Monastery. Visit this 13th century monastery carved out of the rock by Christian monks. Stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama for a great photo opporturnity of Selime Monastery featured in the ‘Star Wars’ films.
Returned to your hotel at the conclusion of the tour. (17.00pm)

What a wonderful experience and a perfect day in the Cappadocia countryside. Aykut, our guide, was wonderful. He spoke fluent English. The tour bus was extremely comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this tour.

The green tour was wonderful with a tour of the underground city, the walk by the river , visits to numerous valleys and churches. It was simply awesome. Our guide Salim was very informative and polite and he made the day a memorable one for us. The 2 km walk by the river was very relaxing. I took green tour combined with hot air balloon flight. Excellent trip. Excellent guide and with perfect pace. Enjoyed a lot each and every aspect.
We started formally at around 10.15. Guide briefed us all about the trip. we first went to underground city. Perfectly preserved ! scary at some point but fascinating. A marvelous piece of excellent engineering. Guide described the different section of the city in detail and the reason for its very existence.
Then a walk, a hiking, or a trekking by the river, the sound of water flowing, birds singing, ducks quacking and wind moving between the leaves of the plantation was all in itself a heaven. In the end, lunch !
Then, we went to a lake crater, Panoramic view. We also went to pigeon valley. We also stopped for precious stone workshop where you can also buy them. In the end, a minor addition whereby we stopped at Turkish delight, fruits and nuts shop.

We joined the Green tour and the hot air balloon ride in early Dec. It was such a wonderful trip, we are led by a knowledgeable and interesting guide and the pace was just nice. The contact person was easily reached and always replied to my questions promptly.
